You beat me to it! Completely agree.

I just wanted to sincerely say thank you. Kotaku’s stance and continued commitment has really touched me as a Muslim and seeing the games community actively support the people of Palestine. As someone who has followed the horrors that have occurred for so long - seeing Game Informer, IGN, Kotaku, etc. constructively…
To be honest, I wasn’t going to comment as I don’t talk about GME and haven’t told anyone in person, but in less than a week the share price has increased by 100% and with this momentum it is at least going to reach $300. So even if you buy now and sell then you will earn at least $40 a share.
This article only skims the surface. I barely understand, but there is a lot more to this then it being a meme stock or Cohen. Go on Wall Street Bets and read through all the due diligence (and do your own).
Unless this includes battles on the world map then I am not interested. I have only played Red / Blue and decided to jump into Sword / Shield being so disappointed by the lack of progress and how poorly the series has aged.
This makes me think there are two possible reasons for Ever Crisis (minus making money) that leads me to the same conclusion... They already now know the storyline in detail for the rest of the FF7 Remakes.
This has always felt like an underrated game that I never thought would see the light of day again.
I’ve never found the control scheme an issue. The main problem with Skyward Sword was its flow - everything felt stilted as you play the game. In fact, I was so frustrated with it that it almost turned me off Nintendo games.
I stopped playing after the first few months, but with it being on the Switch... I will be tempted to get back into it simply because of how quick and easy it is to load up a game and start playing.
Are there any other gaming / gaming adjacent focused Web comics that other people recommend?
Completely agree. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed Super Mario Strikers, but it was never a must own game on the console like Punch Out was for the Wii.
While we miss playing together in person, our group has pretty much stuck to level 1 and we have been doing great.
The only thing that got me through open world games is that I am no longer a completionist.
In the past I might have agreed with you, but if anything the push from Microsoft has been around connecting various aspects together such as Xbox / PC / Cloud through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Play Anywhere, free upgrade from Legion and Valhalla for Xbox Series, etc.
I have a simple request. Put a code into physical copies of games so you can download the digital version of them for free.
Urrgghhh... I’m not sure why but hearing it focus on America has just turned me off. If it gets ported to the Switch then I might buy it.
Same here. Me and two other people are having the game crash more and more as we get to the end of the game. To the point where it is a struggle to complete (i.e trying cut scene not starting and going to a black screen, etc.). I've got to near the end of the game and it is just happening over and over again.
I want this so much! It interests me a lot more than the Series X given that I don’t care about 4k yet. The only thing that stops me is it being digital only.
There was that, but also the way it approaches combat. You have cards for dialogue options as well. I heard about it on a Shut Up and Sit Down podcast a while ago who normally focus on boardgames - but they did a short segments about computer games and they mentioned how much they were enjoying this game.
My Switch has become my go to console (in handheld mode) to play indie or non-AAA games. So out of all of them Griftlands is the game I am most excited for out of everything shown.
