Yeah, my mom never monitored our television while growing up. And my parents never had to have these awkward conversations with us and we turned out fine. She just didn't believe in babying us so damn much.

TBS' Ground Floor has this problem. I did not find any of the "jokes" funny, yet the laugh track made it seem like the whole show was funny. Not related to CBS, but I seriously hate Ground Floor. I also hate myself for watching an episode.

Pinterest has an app too, and it is constantly improving. I have pinned recipes, makeup, etc and when I go to the store I just pull out my phone to remind me of what I need.

I am tired of the Jezebel hate towards Pinterest as well. They are stereotyping women by saying that the ones on there are just into Pinterest for mason jars, dips, wedding stuff, and babies. What is all the Pinterest hate for? I don't have any pins for mason jars, I don't DIY a ton of stuff, I have no interest in

I remember her being upset at Anne Hathaway for getting the role of Selina Kyle. She said she had dressed up like a cat in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry so that was like an audition. She was also pissed about not getting the part of Ally in The Notebook. That might have been the one where she said she was too

Agreed. My boyfriend's brother put in 60 hours every week at UPS. That's 60 hours of actual hard labor...getting packages off the trucks, sorting them, loading them for delivery and going out to deliver. It's not 60 hours of sitting in an office like attorneys or other people do. It's 60 solid hours of intense

Agreed. I took several programming courses and I hated them with a passion. I often needed help from other students and the instructor because my mind did not care about programming.

hahaha, I really should.

Yeah, I'm not sure why people think that hands are off limits. But I guess people will zero in on any body part and comment on it.

I love gift cards it it's for places I like. Or a Visa gift cards is also nice too. I don't really go to the stores that often, and when I do, I buy myself what I want. So when people ask me what I want for my birthday or Christmas I never know what to say because I've already bought what I wanted. So a gift card

I commented below that I think my gift from my boss is The Secret..but in book form. She casually mentioned that she was starting a "voluntary" book club and we would have weekly meetings.

My boss loves these. She will eat tins of this stuff by herself because I don't dare touch these things. She has even started buying 2 tins at a time so she won't run out quickly.

Some people really have no tact, and just say the mean and stupid things that come to their brains.

I went to a conference a few months ago and a group of became friends and hung out during the entire trip. One night, one of the guys looks at one of the woman's hands and makes a rude comment about how her hands are really ugly and gnarled/gnarly? for such a young person. She quickly got embarrassed and explained

Hmm...a few years ago I would have been in a similar situation. I was dating this guy, turns out he was living with his girlfriend. His gf confronts me then realizes I had no idea he was seeing someone. We discovered he was also seeing another girl. We didn't confront her though...what was the point? Anyway, she

This is how I feel about Helena Bonham Carter. I don't care what anyone says, I really think she is a bad actress. Thanks, Tim Burton!

My boyfriend got a Doberman as a gift for Christmas a couple of years ago. We already had a big chocolate lab...and not enough money and space for another dog. I was so upset and his family didn't understand why I thought that it should be a mutual decision to take in a dog. He ended up giving the dog to his brother

I think my boss's Christmas gift to me is The Secret. I am trying to practice the face I will make when I receive it because I do not want that book.

Agreed. His comments about homosexuality being a sin is wrong, but why aren't people focusing on his racist comments as well? People are painting him as a Christian martyr who "stood up for his Christian beliefs." Is is also Christian to make racist comments about how life under Jim Crowe was just so damn peachy?

My parents do that too actually. They have a ton of those jars and they like to store stuff in them :)
