Absolute first thing popped into my head.
Absolute first thing popped into my head.
Nah, no long diatribe about how my high school friends and I saw this twice in the same weekend.
Absolutely, 100% true story: I had a friend who, last week, straight up looked me in the eye and said that racism is “just the media”. Racism is just the media. I was flat out speechless.
Sliced italian bread, toasted, sliced hungarian headcheese, melted in oven. Maybe add a slice or two of onion.
So am I right this isn’t a slicing bread? I’ve made bread before, found it too much work (lazy ass, I know). But i made 2 loaves of this last weekend, both really dense, much longer cook time, and big crumbly chunky, if that makes sense. I realize this isn’t a bitchin’ french or italian bread, but i think it could…

Rush - 2112 (obvious) and Clockwork Angels (should be obvious)
Still thought he owned A Good Year, which I enjoyed far, far more than anyone else, I guess.
My father’s side were born and spent much of their lives in Austria/Germany. Growing up I learned that there was two things at every dinner table, regardless of month or season: broth soup as a starter, and crusty bread during the meal (seriously, my grandparents eventually settled in Florida, and friggin SOUP was…
I just want to say, well done with article. It’s difficult to say “the HOF is a joke”, because in reality, obviously, there are many greats in there. But it continues to seem more and more tainted...and they haven’t even (really) started to let the “druggy bastards” in (that’s sarcasm).
I still can’t bring myself to consider them actually in the BIG 10,000. Never liked how’s/why’s they’re in the league in the first place.
What a joke. And not even a good joke, like a “ha ha” joke. First 3 “non conference games”. As has been mentioned before on this fine site...winning trumps all.
Spent 13 years making (more or less) those Osh’s, maybe better to say I assisted (material handler). Although I much more enjoyed working on the ARFF trucks. The Strikers’ both amazed and scared the shit out of me.
My father, and his father, were absolutely ADDICTED to VW vans in the 70s and 80s. Unhealthly (?) so. I remember so well, all the summers in Florida (guh), tooling around, going to theme parks, shopping, here and there, in my gpa’s beautiful, clean, amazingly well kept van (he’d installed a bed, a fridge, a…
Boy, try to make a joke. Clearly I need to work on my Kinja sarcasm. Thanks for pointing it out.
I have a question, mildly related. I was in a relationship for 14 years, the last 10 of which spent very alone, as my spouse had almost completely shut off any romantic desires towards me. I had, over the course of our relationship, several “opportunities” (guh, that sounds terrible) with other woman, but never once…
In my experience, wheat beers age very well. Over the last 10 years or so, whenever New Glarus releases their Dancing Man Wheat (my favorite beer ever made), I load up at the end of the summer, 1-2 cases. I tend to have one with every Packer regular season and playoff game (provided they actually make the playoffs),…
As someone who knows next to nothing about engines (wait, how does that work...WHY does that work?), I am momentarily proud to say I have never over-tightened the filter when changing oil. Just...enough. Yay, me.
Came here today not expecting this, was pleasantly surprised. You nailed it. I watched most or all games this year, and if I hear one more person mention the Bucks’ awesome “length”, I’m going to plow turkey basters filled with hydro acid in my hears. And squeeze those f*ing bulbs soooo hard...
While I don’t have Labo (or even Switch, truth be told), my child does at his mother’s (just Switch). When I first showed him the Labo, he loved the idea as much as I do. I’m bummed by all the negatives thrown at this early on, but now, after all these, I really love the idea. May be a present in his near future.
As I’ve mentioned numerous times in Jalop posts, I have very little “vehicle understanding”. That being said, I am hopeful, daily, for a report of some sort from you and your trials and tribulations (truth be told, I frequently think you’re a bit nuts). Your expertise is amazing, but your passion is extraordinary.
