I am very happy about this, as, from a purely selfish standpoint at least, Gardenhire was a constant topic of discussion between myself and an incredible man, a hero, who passed away in July. I was, and am still, devastated. From Minnesota, and I from Wisco, we talked alot about both of our teams.

Alright, car-illiterate questions coming. I apologize in advance, sincerely.

Thank you for your service, and your intelligence.

This. Anyone who states that crafts associating with Big Beer is just good, smart business is full of shit. Money? Yes, more to be made thru the partnership/acquisition. But is it better for the industry, for consumers? No. Buying supplies/ingredients and keeping them from crafts, the abysmal and archaic distribution

Thank you for this. Needed solid, surprise laugh today. Gratefully accepted.

Uh, excuse me, but “we” already held “our” beauty pageant for “our” right to have a bajillion dollar company come and make jobs and money for “us”. Foxconn.

At an annual July 4th party this year, held on the 3rd (likes everyone’s?), I received a phone call that one of the most amazing men I have ever known had finally succumbed to cancer. I was already tipsy at the fine drinking hour of 5:00ish (yes, pm, I’m an alcoholic, but c’mon, there were children around). I tried my

I’m just here to mention that the call on FS1 (don’t know the play-man, and too, uh, “fluid” at the moment to look it up), was spectacular.

This is the greatest ISIS recruitment deterrent video ever made.

Hooray for Brewers news on Deadspin!

I’m building one for myself in September. No joke. My 16+ year old child, who stays with me every other weekend, will be joining me until higher education beckons.

I wish I was better.

Fact: over their last five games the Celtics were 1-4. Over a 82 game season that record translates to, like, 16 wins. If the Celts only have 16 wins next year they’re pretty much locks for the #1 pick. I think it’s clear what the Kings should do.

Now playing

Now, see, my beloved Brewers did this last year with the only baseball voice worth hearing in the morning. While this isn’t my video, it gives you an idea of what we are treated to, should we desire.

I live in east-central Wisconsin, and for years (and had planned this year), all warm weather crops go out 3rd weekend May. I was just telling my mother today (she lives northwoods Wisco)...in the place I’m staying now, apart from the gardens, I won’t be planting this year. But last year, I had tomatoes, peppers, and

On behalf of all Brewers’ fans, I’d just like to say that, nay, no tire fire here. We are absolutely giddy with the teams’ work thus far. Overachieving? Maybe, maybe not. Will they win the division, slide into postseason? No. But when a rebuild seems to have only taken a year or so, and the product is so much fun to

I grew up watching Sidney, Lanier, Lister, Marques, Quinn, jeepers, even Sikma. God, I’m old. But those were some freakin’ hey days. I’ve bounced back and forth with the Bucks, yea and nay, even though college has always been my favorite round ball.

Now see, this is when golfing is really great to watch. Yes, I do watch golfing. Blech. But when a guy drills that shot..and high fives the gallery...because that’s what we would do.

Oh for the cry-ee-eye, just point at the scoreboard. Period. Raise arm, extend finger. Easy, peasy, eh, some fruit, squeezy.

And my favorite, borage. Plant it just about everywhere, and as a bonus, the young leaves taste exactly like cucumbers.
