Always felt the best beer in Minnesota is brewed up in Duluth. I'm from Wisco, and every year, even with the great, great selection of beers that are available here in my home state, I get giddy when the 2 or 3 trips to Duluth are getting near. Gotta be the water.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Door County Brewing. Their Polka King Porter is excellent, as is the Little Sister Wit (I was stunned how good this was). The Biere De Seigle Farmhouse is very good, too. Also, some mention Hinterland in Green Bay, but I wholeheartedly recommend Titletown Brewing instead (they're

I'm just here to thank you for mentioning Polish Moon. That baby deserves more love.

Please don't knock Point. Yeah, it's my opinion, but their flagship lager is lightyears ahead of just about any other lager on the shelves. I wish more folks would give it a chance.

Hit Karben in the fall, had been looking forward to it for some time (my nice lady friend is friend of the family that owns it...or something....I forget....all I heard is "they make beer"). Now, I'm an admitted non-hop head, but I've learned to enjoy them on a level (drinking one now). But that IPA was dreadful.

I'll start by saying I won't berate you. I don't agree with you, though, but only to a point: Spotted Cow is the best, easy drinking, anytime beer in the state. It literally can be had anytime, anywhere, and it works. The same cannot be said of alot of great beers in the state, including Bedlam (and several other

I will certainly give the Bills credit, they deserved the win. But the Packers offense was woefully awful. Every aspect of the passing game was off, to a degree I've not seen in some time (yeppir, Packer fan from Wisco). Rodgers was all over the place, putting the ball everywhere except where it should've been, which

Multiple recommends. I can't get close to affording just about all of the ones they ever review/recommend anyway, but since I'm looking for something I can take outside while working in the yard, there's no way I'm spending that kind of money on something that may not hold up.

It's the NBA. "Plays" are usually left to the unpaid, although the trend is invading college courts more and more these days too. Ugh.

Feel free to blast away at Packer fans, nothing we can do about them, but Bucky fans are nowhere near as bad as, oh, say, about 50 other colleges, and not even in the same galaxy as Cardinal fans. I don't know who you've been hanging around with from UW, but I think it sucks you have that impression.

I would give you several "recommends" if I could.

Jeebus. That was the suckiest bunch of suck suck I ever sucked. Should've taken my own advice and checked the interwebs. And last time I comment while half asleep. Blah.

Ok, yeppir, totally on me. Wording thing, how one reads it. No biggy, as I said, doesn't mean it's any less impressive, as was Rollie back in my heyday. But if you're bored with the off-season, feel free to look at the mustachioed God's stats. Ho. Man.

Yeah, I'm guessing you meant the first in the National League since Gibson to sweep both awards, but Rollie Fingers grabbed both with the Brewers in '81. Doesn't mean it's any less impressive.

I'm with you. On my old Sony's and HTC Vivid, texts, calls, emails, etc would pause my music on Player Pro and JRiver, the two music apps I use most. But with my HTC One M8, only calls interrupt the music. I've had to try multiple ringtones to find one that would sound so different than my music as to be noticeable.

I love how past success in life, not just sport, apparently means the individual is allowed to act in any manner they choose. Bryant has, of course, been a fine player for many, many years. He has won many, many deserved accolades.

I never understand why, in these situations, the one player (Howard) doesn't just stand there, one eyebrow raised, looking at the other player (dufus, uh, Bryant)... and calmly point to the scoreboard.

My own top 5:

I'm a decent enough fan of Pumpkins, and while I've tried the majority of these, nothing I've ever had is even close to Alaskan Pumpkin Porter.

Struzan was one of my idol's growing up, so much so that I tailored my (minor) art skills to somewhat mimic his. In the late 90s/early 2000s, I did a series of pencil art drawings which sort of followed his style. One in particular featured Clint Eastwood's career, to that point, through four of his most memorable
