Awesome find.
Awesome find.
That might be the oddest method I've ever seen. Honestly, I can't figure why...uh, what? Is the putting it back in the freezer to get them quickly back up to room temp? Does it somehow "lock in" the marinade? Is this kind of a double-frying situation, like with fries or cracklin'? I'm just at a loss.
Nothing brings out the experts quite like steak. Everyone and their grandma knows "the perfect way to make it and if you don't make it this way you're making it wrong and you're just a makingity make fool".
Many moons ago, I came across and eventually purchased a sheet of Brewers' 1983 playoff tickets. Think I paid the hefty sum of around a buck or two.
And I saw that video, and a screen cap on Olbermann a couple months back. It's pretty clear that Giambi was safe. I've since tried like hell to find the cap he had anywhere online, but I'll be damned if I can.
I plan to invite him to my wedding. We loves them two-fisted-slobbers in my home state Wisconsin.
They usually do...against my Badgers. At least for the last series of the game. :-(
I was just about to ask the question as to whether they signed him for football reasons or for "humanitarian" reasons. Given the info you provided, I think both are pretty great, thanks for the info, most appreciated.
Degrade? No kidding. Couple years ago, I hung a whole bunch out in the garden, to twirl and scare off birds and other critters. Damn things didn't even last through the summer.
Minnesota can't even do cheese curds themselves. Get 'em from Wisco:
It's a fantastic movie, completely enjoyable from start to finish. Might be my favorite Cruise film, and I couldn't be happier Bird (one of my favorite directors) was able to prove to us all that he can handle live action.
Just this past weekend, while exposing my daughter for the first time to the glory that is Die Hard, I was explaining how extraordinary McTiernan was. He gave us Predator, Die Hard, and Red October in a string. That's incredible. His style is easily identifiable, and yet, amazing. His lost years to all of us can't be…
^Excellent. Just wanted to say thanks. Been involved in too many arguments about this movie, and what you've written here is a really wonderful little capsule of major missed opportunities.
No call, if anything, but closer to a charge. But the gif shows the real problem with that play: Stokes trying to plow through two players with a wide open teammate at the top of the key. Pass the ball, young man. Pass the ball.
Just happened to be listening to Pink Floyd's Echoes when I saw this.
Thank you for this. I love the 2010 references here, but this is actually more on topic.
FWIW- Yes, I work for Oshkosh. Yes, so does my nice lady friend. That is all.
FYI- the vehicles in the photo are not Lockheed, they're Oshkosh, who have their own unmanned trucks.
Saw Sykes earlier this year in GB against Wisconsin, where he alone nearly beat Bucky (with the Phoenix's giant Alec Brown laying an egg). Now won Horizon league Player of the Week 5 times, averaging 20.4 pts and 5.3 assists per. Even with his size, he's fearless and goes to rim constantly. Thoroughly impressed.
Moot point now regarding my beloved Bucky. Crean usually has Indy ready to play, and tonight, the Badgers soft inside D was smoked. I still think this is the best overall Bo team ever, but it may well be one of the least disciplined defensive teams he's ever had. I realize they lack size down low, but shitty D is…
