in Ontario Canada we have no annual inspection, no emission test on clunkers over 20 or 25 years old I think ( all my cars pretty much). the emission for older cars went wawy in 2021. before that I remember me passing emission test on my 1988 Mercedes with M103 was a little challenge to say the least.
