My family flies Spirit or Frontier down to Florida to visit my brother. Less than $80 round trip and we all have a stock of clothes/toiletries/etc at his house so we can get by with just the personal bag. It really works for us for that particular flight. We bring one bag with snacks and fill up water bottles after

I once typed compliment instead of complement and was corrected for it on kinja.

My apartment was just down the street from that house a few years ago . (I think it’s the same house). It was actually getting fixed up and looked pretty good. I’m curious to see what it looks like now.

When we were repainting the family room, there were around 2 weeks where the one wall of the room had 6 different test stripes on in. Did it look ridiculous for that time period, sure. But we were able to get a good idea of how they would dry and how they worked with the different light sources.

This hits me in the feels. I experienced the “female” version of bulling. No threats of physical violence, but instead being constantly ostracized and laughed at. Every time being in the vicinity of those girls, they would faux whisper and point and giggle, making sure I knew that I was the subject of their mockery.

Cravings can be weird. When my dad was going through chemo and unable to eat solid foods for weeks on end, the one food he craved above all others was KFC. And it’s not like it was something he ate regularly pre-cancer either, maybe once or twice a year. But that is what his brain wanted and when he was finally on

My cousins’ family does not. They were saying over Christmas dinner at my house how good the mashed potatoes were. Yup. That’s what a pound of butter and whole (full fat) milk will do.

We make ours the same way. I have never, ever, heard of heating the butter or milk.

Falcon-cam watchers at the University of Pittsburgh got to watch as chick #1 was hatched, then chick #2. Then mama falcon killed chick #2 and started feeding it to chick #1.

Been there, done that. More than once. I now do a quick walk around the yard before mowing to see if I can spot any holes.

And the large donations he received from the pharmecutical industry had absolutely nothing to do with his stance. Absolutely nothing!

Another part of the law, according to my friend who is a lawyer in NC, is that it bars ANY type of nondiscrimination suit from being filed in the state’s courts. Get fired because you are pregnant? Too bad. Get kicked out of your apartment cause the owner doesn’t like your service dog? Find a new place to live. Etc.

I may or may not have binged every season in early February...

Which is possibly a good thing. She’ll have more power to negotiate her own contract instead of being forced to accept the winning one.

I’m descended from Irishmen who worked in the coal mines and were treated like shit; and Eastern Europeans who worked in the coal mines and were treated like shit by the Irish who were there first. (One of my great grandfathers was supposedly hung by a group of Irish lads who didn’t like that he got a promotion and

Check out nick reboot. It streams almost all the classic nick shows 24/7. I love putting it on as background noise while working/studying.

OMG THEY ACTUALLY HAVE FULL BUTT COVERAGE STRING BIKINIS!!!!!! I must buy them now!

Exactly. I have been wracking my brain the past few days trying to think of a single Oscar level film produced this year that has a WOC in a major roll. And I can’t. And that’s half the problem.

It was Andrea’s Constand’s (the accuser) civil suit in 2005 where Cosby admitted that he had previously drugged and assaulted/raped numerous women, which was sealed until this past summer. Unfortunately it probably wasn’t the voices of numerous women, but 1 man’s that led to charges being filed.
