I agree. She is not expresses abusive or hateful views. Just a different idea of the relationship between professors and students.

I’m a life-long feminist who at 34 is starting to feel very much on the outside of this tent. What the fuck are these student’s going for here?

headaches are a symptom of altitude sickness like HAPE. It is real enough but rare when you are under 12,000’ in elevation. Unless you are high in the mountains for extended periods, a headache is much more likely to be due to dehydration than lower atmospheric pressure due to altitude.

This is really ridiculous. I’m all for college students speaking out against abuse or hate speak, but this was simply a critically thinking professor who has a different stance/opinion than some other campus feminists. Feminism is not a monolith! We are all allowed to have different feminist beliefs!!

YOU’RE ARE SO MISGUIDED THAT I DON’T EVEN THINK I CAN HELP YOU.

Bitch-in Camero

Your detailed knowledge of dildos is impressive.

The dildo story does not make much sense.

Headaches probably also related to lower air pressure, getting less O2 in with each breath.

When are women going to ban men from telling women what the fuck they can and cannot do. That's what I want to know.

Bats!!!!

My friends took me to Atlantic City one year for my birthday so I have tangible proof that they actually hate me and wish me harm.

who among us hasn’t

I had a girlfriend do that (preach about water intake) a few years ago. “I lost like 15 pounds!” she swore at me. Then I found out she was drinking full-sugar sodas and swapped them out for water. DUH. Of course she lost weight. She just cut a bunch of calories from her diet!

That is a very interesting point—thank you. I live on the east coast and when visiting my friends at a high elevation in Colorado last summer they kept telling me to drink water all the time. They explained that because of the low humidity, you don’t realize how much you’re sweating and you often won’t know that

1 bowel movement a day, like clockwork. TYVM.

So, I agree with the hard work/hot temperatures thing - un-accustomed people seem to be generally shit at recognizing thirst indicators. I think it’s something you have to actually learn to do in different environments. Seems like we get into the habit of drinking on and off here and there at a given rate/volume for

You are probably feeling the sugar hitting your blood stream, rather than the hydratedness.

And eating the orange gives you a nice dose of fiber.
