Your comment about the “privileged” irks me. If you watch the footage when Day got knocked out, there’s this dude in a suit jacket, in the stands, standing up and clapping (like he maybe won a bet? Who knows...). I was disgusted watching that, like that dude just loves watching people beat the shit out of each other

While I never drink Sierra Nevada anymore, it will forever live on as one of the grandfathers of “craft” brewing. Torpedo is the one beer that inspired me to expand my beer horizons, and I never turned back.

“They will sweep any moral issue under the rug if it fits the narrative of the Good White Christian Making Good and justify it by reciting religious pablum like “only God can judge” or “forgiveness is the Christian thing to do”. Shut down. Everyone was laid off/moved.

I’m flabbergasted by how much money the movie has made. Of course, a movie’s actual worth can’t be measured by its box office take, but jeez people, wait for it to be on HBO Now or Netflix.

Oh nice, all movies I might’ve found funny in my teens.

“Mr. Brady, if you will, can you please stand *rrriiiigggghhhhtttt there*, perfect.”

Hey, as long as he wears one of those stupidly-fitting suits that SEC chuds wear while sitting in the first row, and praises Jeebus, everything will be fine.

That looks like it was planned...

I would say the anger associated with observing your team playing shittily.

I pointed this out the other day, and people were like, “he’s rich, he doesn’t care”. But surely there’s an angle here where the Nationals showed that maybe, just maybe, Bryce Harper is an aggressive douchebag that has a negative effect on a clubhouse.
