@Atheist Jew: I don't necessarily think your cynicism is warranted. If you're trying to cash in on the video game industry, you sure as hell don't do it by making a point and click adventure game. And, by all accounts, the game was quite decent. They're definitely in the wrong, but I don't think there was anything

A narcoleptic, a homosexual and a valley girl walk into a recording booth...

I mis-read "partnering" as "pandering" at first. Same difference in this case, I guess.

Perfect for those H-games.

Doom had plenty of needless key hunting. You just forgot about it.

That's completely inaccurate! The meat shields are still alive when you use them. God, can't the media ever get their facts straight?

@Erwin: The Flight of the Bumblebee would be appropriate.

This brings new meaning to the term "cockslap".

@ItsHammerTime: The story in MGS2 was awful, and the game barely did anything to set it apart from its predecessor gameplay-wise. Definitely not the best.

No way that's made out of legos. They'd have been breaking off left and right as that thing rolled down the hill.

That's some good logo readin' there, boy.

@okenny :): Knowing is half the battle. The GI Joes were too lazy to think about the war.

@ShirtGuyDom: This is the beginning? The console's been on the market for a year and a half now, it's definitely approaching middle age. If they can't cut costs quickly, they're throwing the whole business model out the window. Who knows, though? Maybe Blu-Ray royalties make up for that.

Easily the harshest review I've seen. Most of his complaints seem to be about optional content, though. You don't really need to do most of the friend stuff.

They hinted at this in the original game . Nothing to be surprised about.

All I can think of is this:

@Sneakiest: Here's how I'd put it: for the price of a high-end PC, I have all three of this generation's consoles. The only games I really miss a mouse and keyboard for are FPSes, and I've gotten pretty used to analog stick aiming.

@ShirtGuyDom: The game was basically the same as MGS, except with less likable characters and a much worse plot. As someone who really enjoyed the first Metal Gear Solid, I would consider that a disappointment.

@ShirtGuyDom: I didn't like MGS2 because the story was dumb. Nothing to do with homophobia, I'm just not into possessed arms and VR plots ripped straight from a bad episode of Star Trek.
