NACS had a definite size advantage, but I hesitate to say it is better. The V3 stations only manage 150kw speeds compared to CCS1 up to 350kw. I know Tesla promised v4 will handle up to 1000v architecture, but they haven’t stated amperage or kw speed. Elon loves to over promise.

Completely agree, this could be very dangerous if you have any gas appliances. It could also be dangerous if left closed for too long in a well sealed building, even without had appliances.

Doubtful in the Cincinnati area. Poor funding, corruption, and fear of the public have turned the police into emergency response only.

Most SUVs don’t have the acceleration, the ones that do are expensive enough to not care.

Heavy EV are also more dangerous to other things in an accident; E=MC². WeWe need more vehicles like Aptera. Composite body keeps the weight low and strength high.

It is big and only ipX4, but the Doss Soundbox XL absolutely rocks. Loud, great punch, fairly clean, good connection. Just put it in about 6" from the wall for the best bass.

Timer, a cheap fishtank grow light, and pint glasses in an Ikea (wall mounted) wine holder. Biggest problem is an occasional fruit fly.

The Mazda 3 is junk. You can’t see out of the thing and you can’t fit more than two adults comfortable for even 5ft. The Golf/Jetta combo is a much better choice. If you must make it a Mazda, go with the Protege.

My thought, UGLY especially the headlights. Showed my wife, she says “meh”. Showed my 13yo boy; he frowned, shrugged, and said “it’s a car”.

Simple, eyes up. Olympic/Greco wrestling and rugby perform tackles with their eyes up (no helmets) and are quite effective. Yeah, they don’t earn endorsements for large hits but I think that money is going to dry up.

This was my first concern as well. Seems like a fire hazard or at least a good way to ruin hours of labor.

My story, probably everyVikings fan’s story.

The real question is, where will this be available? Still no Ioniq or Soul EV in the SE Ohio dealers. Only BEV we can get here are Teslas, Leafs, and Bolts.

Do me a favor, drive the CVT on the interstate and report the fuel economy then. Every Subbie owner’s fuel economy has failed miserably when I’ve challenged them on that test. My wife’s Forrester got 35mpg at 60mph but only 18mpg at 75mph.

I found a dealership in Michigan that has five for sale. I called and started working numbers on a lease. Thinking is, battery tech will be much better by the time the lease is up and resale prices will be low. Couldn’t get the numbers to line up. Turns out, at least according to this dealer, Chevrolet doesn’t give

I thought it was a snooze fest. Strategy and luck ruled, not the drivers or machines. IndyCar is much more fun to watch right now.

Why not just use the transmission from the GM/Mopar hybrid trucks? Biggest issue is packaging the batteries so they don’t explode in an accident.
