I think Tesla wants to be the Exxon Mobil of the Electric Car Universe our almighty god-emperor prophet Elon foresees. Think of the cars like the reference graphics cards Nvidia makes- a proof of concept.

IIRC, the usage rights for companies using them are quite a bit more nuanced, and still, I also think Tesla Superchargers probably won’t support other cars.

Neutral- Electrics won’t be the standard until a 5 minute charge to 75% or so is possible and there’s a standard charger. The standard will probably be Tesla’s, but they haven’t opened it up yet. If I were Elon, I would soon.
