This is quite the throwback, but the Halloween episode of Punky Brewster from 1984 is notorious for taking a hard right turn into horror. The image of her friend disfigured and permanently embedded in the haunted cave showed up in my childhood nightmares for years. https://www.youtube.com/wat…

I don't think it's on the level of It Follows or Babadook, but I would argue that Oculus features a similarly unbeatable evil.

That's bad.

Came here to say this. I'd settle for Egon's PKE Meter.

Um… no?

This review sounds much lower than a B-. It seems more like a C- (which I would agree with).

That could very well be their plan - in that case it's a hugely wasted opportunity to have such an uninteresting character marking time until the reason for them being there is revealed.

Yeah, he also accepted from the outset that he was damned for all the atrocities he'd committed. When the Operative leaves at the end, he is clearly a broken and depleted man who will be haunted by the things he's done forever.

While I agree with your assessment, it proves to me once again that Skye's character has absolutely no place on the team or this show. "You should learn to mind your surroundings!"

I'm pretty sure that it was his first time anchoring, but not his first time on camera - before that he was one of ACN's legal experts.

That would all certainly make sense. I'm just curious if we'll ever find out how Gaynor went from loyal American soldier in the early days of Afghanistan, to recruited bad guy for the Merlyn syndicate in Starling City (bad enough to get on The List pre-2007), to SO disillusioned by his skills not being recognized by

This may be a dumb question to get hung up on, but I'm a little curious how Ted Gaynor wound up in Oliver's book, if the names in the book were compiled 5 years previous. I know it's possible that Gaynor was up to some nefarious things for Merlyn before Oliver and his dad were on the sinking ship, but I feel like the
