I really enjoyed the way things played out in the book, even if some of it stretched plausibility. I was willing to look past that stuff. But the ending is so tidy and wrapped up with a big happy bow. I'm not opposed to the happy ending. I'm opposed to the way we get to it - almost as though Lepucki ran out of steam
