As a fan of the show and a gay I don’t understand the reaction. Side characters are killed off all the time (on shows where killing people is something that happens). It’s still one of, what, only three current shows? with a non-heterosexual character as the lead. Focus on that, not trying to make gay characters…

On top of this, there’s the fact that the larger story progression hinges on Lexa’s death. Lexa lives? Most of the rest of the show are completely different. It’s not like it was trivial.
