the VFX and CG and costuming needs major work. Everything looks too plastic and clean. The Elites look too fat and the action pieces all feel floaty. I give them credit for certain nods to fan service with the FPS views and shield recharging noise.

So like many other fans I probably have a certain version of what a Halo movie/series should look like. I’m a big time fan of the series and the expanded universe behind it. That being said, I kept an open mind going into this with the alternate timeline etc.
