It’s actually pretty impressive how, when it came to watering the tree of liberty with his own blood, he was able to totally cut out the middle man.
ÜberMoose - “Yeah, I don’t exactly disagree with you, there. I just think people need to be aware of how dangerous he is while continuing to goad him.”
Since American Hitler is doubling down with his Morning Joe tweets, does that mean he’s guilty of this latest transgression? I’d bet on it.
Becoming? Watch an interview, or if you’re feeling brave, try to read a transcript of a rally. It’s exactly how he speaks. I’d be surprised if he even thinks in any voice, because his actions are always that of a man with no thought process whatsoever.
True, but if he really, REALLY did something dumb, like very candidly say what he really thinks about republican voters in an extremely stupid way (and we all know he’s capable) that would be fantastic.
I’m no fan of Scarborough but I’ll tend to take his word over Trump’s. Also, it seems that Trump gets even more blustery when confronted by someone who claims to have evidence. Joe’s an asshole and I tend not to agree with his politics but I don’t remember him ever intentionally lying on air.
I personally like the Christians who love his stance of “hit back 10 times harder”. Matthew 5:39 advises differently (“If someone slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also”) but I suppose it all depends how you “interpret” it. I’m waiting for a noted Christian spokesperson for Trump, like Mike Huckabee…
I am honestly convinced that they won’t care at all. I work with a few Trumpers and have tried to untangle what in the hell they are thinking, they literally refuse to believe that any criticism of him is valid. Pussy grabbing tape was off the record so it can’t be judged. 3am unhinged tweeting is great, he’s…
Because cognitive dissonance is easy.
Trump is the logical end point of the Republican party.
Is there any level at which Trump’s version of events makes sense? “A tabloid is harassing my family and myself. I know, I’ll call the POTUS to get him to stop it!” Does anyone actually think that way, and is that seriously the narrative that he’s trying to push?
C’mon Joe, release the text messages!
I would think if blowjobs from an intern is an impeachable offence, then threatening civilians with blackmail would be also.
At this point, I am certain that my family only continues to support him because it would be too much of a blow to their pride to admit that I—or any other “danged liberals”— were right about him. However, they have stopped rubbing “the country’s bright prospects” in my face and have simply become silent.
I think it would have been really beneficial to the voting public if we could have somehow had some sort of warning that maybe Trump wasn’t entirely on the up and up during the campaign. I think it would have really affected the outcome of the election.
You apparently don’t realize how badly Republicans want to boot 20+ million off their health insurance.
Mr Safety and I were discussing the theory that this is all staged to keep us from noticing all the other crap that’s taking place (sort of) behind closed doors...
I love the contrast between Trump and Scarborough’s tweets. Scarborough shows you can tweet in complete sentences and still get your idea across. I’m becoming more and more convinced that Trump’s tweets aren’t in Twitter-speak for brevity but because that’s how he actually thinks.
This is insane, this is actually insane! How can anyone still stand by this man’s administration? The President of the United States has just blackmailed two morning show hosts by using his tabloid connections to harass them and their children unless they call and beg forgiveness for their critical coverage of him. I…
