@A.Franklin: Yeah, I'm starting to be pissed off about their mishandling of multitouch interface design. I want to touch the screen not some tiny trackpad!

@ohnoitsaspider: Doesn't sound like it. Are you talking about the touchsmart line? How is the support in Linux?

@jporter313: Yeah, especially considering they don't have any multitouch monitors at t his point.

Except this sucks because I want to be able to multitouch on the screen, not some small trackpad.

Meh. Data plans. 'nuff said.

@junkyardarts: Much more if you're more than just a coder.

@shenanigans: I could see them doing birds of prey for OS XI.

@TadGhostal: Yeah, here's hoping Johnny Q Public tells M$ to get lost on this one. I know I prefer to have my cake and eat it, too.

@wastedlife: There will always be some need for IT people locally. Hopefully the demand doesn't drop too significantly.

@timgray: Last I heard, the tv you get is basically the national broadcast stuff. Is there a listing of available channels somewhere?

So...bigger numbers are better...any special significance of 1? What *are* the units?

I wonder if he hooked them up with any special equipment. The guy's got the DOE, the DOD, and every other D?? acronym at his beck and call.

That just makes Ubuntu look like a cheap, half-cooked knock-off of Mac OS X. Ubuntu looks/works well enough on its own.

"It would be about a space prison in orbit around Earth, which houses 500 of the world's most dangerous criminals. Naturally, there's a jailbreak"

-edit- Never mind. ;)

The way these guys got stuck you'd think they'd consulted a porn star about not getting stuck in a hole.

So what you're saying is...I'm not the only one with a dustball once known as a digital camera?

@Samuel James Reha: Good point. We're all doomed! Anyone got Dr Orpheus' number?
