@murderface_: I will now leave for no apparent raisin!

I'm glad to hear that. The real test will be how the rest of the season fairs.

I went to their website. I could not find any actual "numbers" on their website. I found a couple, sparse pages both with a sales pitch...but no actual numbers. I learned more skimming your article than going to their website.

@Hairy Putter: Yeah, I keep thinking that as well. It's like when they went from G4 to G5 processors. Or from titanium to aluminum power books.

@Hairy Putter: BUT IT'S NOT 1ST GEN! It's 5th gen! (3G and 3GS counted separately.)

@beewee640: I agree...it probably doesn't help they tested them in protective plastic cases.

@Coca-Cola: He might as well be watching the Deathstar blow a planet up.

@Alizarin: I think the problem is that Roddenberry is dead and Lukas isn't. That leaves finding a really good writer with a great vision to take over Gene's mantel. I'm guessing that's what's stopping the studios.

Star Trek. I vote here because I'm done w/FB. Sorry.

Not to mention that'd make it very hard to call in sick for work. "Oh? You're sick, huh? Let's get you on the camera. See if you look sick."

My eyesight's going :/

@Matt: I'd love a smartphone. But for the reason you just stated I doubt I'll buy one anytime soon.

Yeah, this article's got me day dreaming of a fusor of my own now.

@onaclov2000: I was thinking something similar. Lots of cool sciencey stuff happens in NM! (It's a big reason I want to move back!)

@That Guy: "We can't control how the energy likes to leave the reaction, and it's in forms we can't use." Second paragraph next to the "lets get this...fusion is...fission is.." graphic.

If I remember the physics symposiums I went to all those years ago well enough...the fact that a SMBH is at the center of our galaxy is significant enough. Sure, it's not the center of power for a vast Galactic empire. But, in many ways, a SMBH is more awesome than any empire. I remember the physicists remarking

@a.seivewright: You've got to watch it again. There's a reason guessed for why the aliens are not truly invading. But it comes out at a point where the viewer's natural tendency is to ignore the point.
