@Althestane: True. I would have felt cheated out of a good story, though. The first time I watched the movie I was creeped out - fully. The conclusions I had drawn about the aliens prior to the end were what made the ending scary. Scaring me with my own thoughts...that's much more intriguing to me than a slasher

@zegota: Yeah I don't get that at all either. I think the PHONE gets unlimited data for 30 a month (you still have to pay for a cell plan). If you want to tether your laptop to your phone that costs another $20/mo with a cap (for your LAPTOP) of 2 gigs.

Wouldn't all of the energy be absorbed if the fusor was submerged in water? Granted, raising the temperature of a pool of water a couple degrees isn't going to power anything. But it would be a way to measure the energy output.

@That Guy: Read the article. Your question's answered there.

@Devryn: "This Farnsworth fusor is finally working. The plasma is the kind of beauty sci-fi special effects are trying to reach. It's otherworldly, a tiny purple star in a tiny cage"

@atrus123: Yeah, I completely agree! It follows the story telling style very well.

@Althestane: That's what I liked about it. He built it up and then delivered. If what he delivered didn't live up to your expectations that says something about your imagination. After watching Signs a second (and third-ish) time I realized there was a lot going on in that "simple" movie. I think he's trying to

@djscruffy: ALF! My first sci-fi love :P

@a.seivewright: Signs. I think that movie was done pretty well, too.

@kasika: I'd say basing their OS on the open source Darwin project is more "open" than Microsoft's OS offerings. (Granted, I have no idea what iOS is based on. It could be Darwin, though.)

@Alexander Slover: Yeah, that'd be useful. I've been really happy with TextWranger, but comparisons always help.

@badasscat: You just made a great point. Plus five internet points for you!

@spyderr0de0: Instead of deleting my FB I just deleted all my personal info from their site. My instinct tells me that's the "better" move to make.

@blehbleh13: No need to "check" their attitude. Time makes fools of us all. How every high they build themselves now is all the harder they will fall years from now.

And...the point at which I start caring about my FB profile is...not now.

Mine also has a book store in the bottom of it. They're used circulation and donated books that cost $1 each. They even stock movies, cds, dvds, and book collections (old encyclopedias)!

@HarkonenandNyota Doe: Yeah I agree. It and Pawn Stars are Monday night favorites around here.

@bitgod: I agree. I don't understand how Apple's completely side-stepped eSATA. AFAIK it's not in any of their hardware (maybe the Pro, but come on).

No price? Limited number available? Those can't be good things....
