@thehouserules: as Kerrigan would say: "thinkin' the same thing, heh"

@Kakkoii: I have 6 people in my family (mom, dad, siblings, etc) that uses a total of 7 computers (one for TV, 1 for parents, 4 for siblings, one for me). Trust me when I say they are not the type to keep their computers clean even though I've told them to stop going to sketchy Chinese sites. So that's 5 computers

@Kakkoii: Sorry, by every time I mean every time I wipe my drive for a reinstall of Windows. It's not THAT often (once every 8 months or so?) but still, it's not as easy as install—done.

So many improvements and still behind MPC-HC in terms of GPU acceleration? I would love to use VLC since it's much easier than having to set up MPC-HC for DXVA everytime. But my laptop only has an Intel 4500MHD and my desktop has an ATI...so...until then, MPC-HC it is.

Bad idea. Rapists will likely realize women are starting to use this and actually check under there before actually doing it. Besides, I think this will put the women's lives at risk since rapists are likely to get super angry and kill them.

Except when the TV falls over and the fluorescent bulb breaks, you get mercury all over the place and in the air that you're breathing.

This may have been already explained below but I don't really want to sift through all the comments to find the answer. So I thought FaceTime works by calling someone and then (if WiFi is available and activated) you turn on FaceTime to do video. Wouldn't that mean you're still in the middle of a call when you use

@VVhistler: Would require some insane compression wizardry to fit in the available storage capacity of the iPad. Would be pretty cool though.

@Posco Grubb: Totally agree. The first thing I thought was "hmmm...maybe TextEdit is a powerful word processor like MS Word" (I don't use a Mac so I don't know) and then I realized that it can't even render the pictures so it's just the Mac very of Wordpad and marginally more powerful than Notepad.

@failtroll_is_fail: If you followed the event you will know that SJ explained why it's there. The gaps make the stainless steel trim two different pieces which are used to boost different signals.

Can anyone comment on the hardware acceleration capabilities of this release? Is is comparable to MPC-HC's ability to use DXVA?

@zmnatz: Agreed. This is an important distinction that everyone should understand.

Vote: Other (when it breaks my jailbreak)

I must have missed the poll, but I totally agree with the results. Windows 7 makes multi-monitor setups work so easily I don't really see why you'd need a third party program.

@superhappyfuntime: Does your netbook have the hardware (e.g. nVidia Ion) to do "hardware acceleration"? There's your answer.

I'm was a physiology major, I'm currently doing a Master's in life science. Before everybody goes out to do this, please be advised of bierjulius's post from Wikipedia. It is 100% correct. The reason why you can hold your breath for longer after hyperventilating is because your body doesn't as much urge to breathe,

Should've said "You are the apple of my i" instead.

Vote: Media Player Classic - Homecinema with CCCP (video card accelerated 1080p decoding FTW!!)

@Doug Nelson: You're not exhaling more. You're exhaling faster., which is a more natural thing to do than to inhale and exhale at the same speed. 3:2 means inhalation takes 3 steps (left, right, left) and exhalation takes only two step (right, left). (The speed of your steps never change)
