Sennheiser headphones just aren't bass-happy. They're incredibly accurate - at least any pair over $50 is - but their response is very flat across the spectrum. I have two pair in my studio and I love them - great for mixdown and mastering. But they're not what I go to for passive music enjoyment.

Do they really these days? I know in the Honeycomb era there were some major issues, but it seems that most of those have been addressed in the last year or two. Personally, we just sold our iPad and switched to a Nexus 7, and are very happy with it. Haven't had any problems with apps…
