Why wouldn't you look at it when plugging it in? wouldn't' you want to make sure you have it lined up right?

So lesson learned is actually look at what your plugging in rather than just jam it in. That's why I hate HDMI it's almost impossible to plug HDMI without looking and aligning it slowly on any product with HDMI.
