She did a heckuva lot of romantic comedies; I'm not sure if that was by choice or not (I really don't know a lot about Doris Day). I thought she was great in "Move Over, Darling," but I haven't really seen much else. Looking at her filmography, she really didn't act in many dramatic roles. Other than "Midnight

I'm . . . vaguely disappointed? I really wanted to like the new Ghostbusters. I love all the actresses (especially McKinnon & Wiig). And I wasn't beholden to the original in any way. But it was too family-friendly for my tastes. One of the things I loved about the original was how, as a kid, it felt like I was

It's a quote from one of her songs. But also, what the fuck did I just read.

And obviously I love, "Freedom." I wish more of it were in the film, but that's what the album's for!

"I smell that fragrance on your Louis knit, boy
Just give my fat ass a big kiss, boy
Tonight I'm fuckin' up ALL your shit, boy"
UUUGGGGH, it's so good. That album is STILL growing on me. I had my favorites when I first heard it ("Sorry," "6 Inch," "Daddy Issues"), but each time I listen to it, there's a new standout.

"Lemonade" is fucking amazing. I still listen to it on a weekly basis and watch the film every once in a while. A person who still considers Beyonce a pop star on par with her contemporaries (Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Rhianna, and, I guess, Taylor Swift) is someone who hasn't seen the film or listened

Please say that Jake Johnson's pal Joe Swanberg is adapting and directing this. Who wouldn't love a mumblecore remake/reboot of The Mummy? They can call it "The Mummbley" or something lame like that.

There was a blind item a while back about a celeb who loved to pleasure himself whenever he could, including getting naked in a limo and just . . . going to town on his peen while the driver drove. The majority of those who commented pointed their virtual fingers at Jason Statham.

"Dial N For Nerder" is one of my favorite episodes of the latter seasons and I haven't seen it since it aired. I was really looking forward to having it on DVD/blu-ray. I'll either have to torrent the seasons or buy some bootleg DVDs, I guess. I would've given that money to Fox, but whatever.

Some of these sound really great, but how the hell am I going to see them? "Amer" in particular — I'd rather not purchase it. It'd be nice if you had a little "This film is available at/through…" under each selection. Guess I'll search every library in the city…

To be completely fair and honest, I haven't seen this episode yet; I made a blanket statement. I like Charlie, so I'm hoping this is a good one.

That's what I do. (Well, not really. It's just what happens when I'm watching Glee late at night — I'm only on season 3 — and Wiki the crap out of the show.)

Colfer never won an Emmy for Glee. Golden Globe, SAG, but no Emmy.

I always liked Rachel, but I'm a sucker for delusional characters who have more self-esteem than common sense (they're just funny). But Kurt . . . Kurt sucks.

That's strange, isn't it? She probably should've been the worst thing about the season, but she was actually the best. She seemed to be having a lot of fun and knew that none of it was to be taken seriously.

It was actually pretty early in the lifespan of the show — season 1. And nope, there was no context to the song; the song's lyrics had no relationship to the scene whatsoever. The words "try" and "Glee" are hardly ever used in the same sentence.

I'd see John Stamos in anything. But especially a speedo.

Yeah, that episode was the only one I disliked and it was mainly because of Martin Short. I get that he's a talented guy, but he was just creepy and incredibly unfunny.

In Her Shoes comes to mind. It's disguised as a rom-com, but is a very nice comedy-drama with a pretty good performance by Diaz, who was most likely elevated by working with Toni Collette and Shirley MacLaine.

I demand a Misfits teaser poster.
