more the effect of becoming too powerful too quickly has on Zod's perspective of his place in the universe. it's the opposite of staring up at the stars and suddenly becoming aware of how small and insignificant you are. It would be an interesting comparison to superman, who has had time to learn the limits of what…
In my mind the line fits in like this.
Would you also like to take back madonna?
Did anyone else spend most of the episode wondering why fringe division had nothing better to do than hunt for this teenage girl? It's not as if she'd committed a crime.
Steampunk transformers has been done :)
What have I got to be proud of for being English? Sounds like are children are the cutest. That and free healthcare. And Aardman animation. and Ian Mckellan. Almost makes up for our shitty government and a capital city that elected Boris Johnson as Mayor.
Exactly what I was going to say
eeeuuuggghhhh. Good point well made.
So what about the whole being dead part for FI? was she misdiagnosed? did she fake her death? Did the husband fake her death?
Yes Yes Yes, I do like zombies.
No no no, I want
Actually the ultimate plan is to kill superman
I'm dyspraxic and dyslexic and can't understand what anyone's saying when I'm in a busy room. Apparently dyspraxia can mess up your ability to filter out all the different noises and focus on one voice. So I have the same issue with crowds. I did notice that Hardy speaks at an odd pitch. quite gravelly, (I was worried…
but what about Gollum's song. It's the only song from LOTR that I felt needed to be on my generic non-apple mp3 player.
I didn't have an issue understanding bane in the trailer. Maybe the trailer was clearer than in the 6minute prequel thing, or maybe it's a Brit vs US thing. Is it that me, Nolan and Hardy can't hear the mumbly problem cause our English ears are tuned slightly differently accent wise.
I loved this film. I loved the subtle little message about how individuals can get lost in statistics. There's a great line when one of the elves says "so this child doesn't matter? How many other children don't matter?"
I'd be betting on Ian Mckellan, or Ian Holm. If they're going to reboot it, i imagine they'll go back to the grandfather image. My own desire would be to see McKellan as the doctor with Christopher Lee as the master Playing Makiovellian manipulator to the daleks and the cybermen.
I'm not so convinced about genre cliches. It seems like sloppy writing to be cliched and yet, most of my favorite films do go there. I think in some genres certain things really are meant to happen. 3-10 to Yuma has all the old western Tropes, but it's good because you feel connected to the characters, it has real…
I really don't agree. clearly someone has a very different definition of scary to me. I wouldn't put half these films on the list, Alien would be there, but certainly not at the top, and really? phantasm? it's kinda silly. (Why is it that i feel so much disappointment that someone has a different opinion to me?…
