As someone who completed college and paid off my own student debt, I am HUGELY in favor of this. The money that would be used paying down these outrageous student loans would go right into the economy. It bootstraps the people who were paying the loans, which in turn bootstraps everybody else.

The trade off with Airsoft is that it can teach bad habits, if your kids have peers that are shooting each other with them.  The upside is that the manual of arms is very similar if you buy the right airsoft guns.

Exactly. I maintain my credentials and bill myself as an NRA instructor because outside of the military, there is no organization that does safety and proficiency training on the scale of the NRA.  But there absolutely needs to be a change at the top and a clean out of the upper echelons of the organization.

When your leadership is more interested in lining their pockets than actually fighting for civil rights, there’s something wrong. I’m a life member, but the NRA only fights when there is political advantage in doing so or when they are sure to win. They flat out abandoned NY, NJ, CT and CA.

THIS!  I used to play airsoft.  There was a team of guys who were abusive, cheating assholes, but they were “regulars” so they would always get a free pass.  They eventually killed the field, because all of the other players stopped coming because of them.  Same exact scenario.
