A pedant writes: Lasiodora klugi. In binomial nomenclature the generic (genus) name (Lasiodora) is capitalised; the specific (species) name (klugi) is not. Both should be italicised.

You miss the point. Superhero films are superhero films. You get what you expect. Doctor Who is a British show, and to suddenly have an episode dealing with a superhero, set in the US, makes it very unBritish, and unoriginal. That’s why I hated it. I’m a Brit.

I’m a Brit and I think I can tell you one reason why it did poorly here. For decades UK tv has been overrun by US programmes. We hear and see Americans everywhere, every day on our tvs. Doctor Who was that rare beast, a truly British programme. Since its been on BBC America, you can tell the makers are pandering more
