No one would ever pay to watch sporting academies, or minor leagues for football or basketball. It’s the same reason why only a small fraction of people watch the WNBA/D-league/AHL/Minor’s vs. the NBA/NFL/MLB/NHL. No one wants to watch sub professional talent when they can just watch the real thing.
