Been playing Destiny for six years and I can’t wait to try this out lol

Nice. People often scoff at trophies/achievements, but y’know what, if I think it’s fun, it’s fun. It’s enjoyable to work toward long term goals in games.

I get that but some people seem to be saying that devs shouldn’t ever put story content in a free online multiplayer update, which is silly.

Peter in the game is in his early 20's.

He looks like a white guy in his early 20's, which is what Peter Parker is in the story. People saying he looks like a 14 year old clearly don’t know many people in their 30's who are constantly mistaken for 20 year olds.

He absolutely looks more like Yuri, what are you even talking about? Obviously it’s not a one-to-one match and Yuri is a lot older, but the general face shape, eye placement, etc is much closer to Yuri now. And knowing a little bit about how this stuff goes, it seems clear to me that the new facial model could help…

Yes, because the original design was so avant garde.

They literally made the change for technical reasons... That’s a huge thing that so many people are missing.

This is certainly an odd decision but in all honesty I like this face a lot better.

Makes sense. Hell, I’m fucking useless without the pressure of a deadline, honestly. 

Yeah I figured it’s probably too late, anyway. Way too many wheels spinning at this point to delay.

I wanna say “just delay it again” but I also know that devs often hate delays because they usually just mean more crunch.

Bummer for those people, but the overall live game will be in a much, much better state with the approach they’re taking. Streamlining the game is going to reduce their dev time significantly, allowing them to address bugs and balance issues (as well as create content, period) quicker, making for a better experience…

I’d say it’s an extremely dumb move to buy any expanded storage for next gen consoles for at least a year. Use a standard external hard drive for your PS4/Xbox One/360/etc games, and only use the internal SSD for current gen games, and you should be fine for a while.

Definitely start fresh; there are so many new systems, materials, currencies, etc now that you’ll definitely benefit from the tutorials they have in place these days.

Not gonna lie, every time they do one of these massive updates I just completely scrap my previous save (that I usually haven’t touched in months) and start all over again. The opening hours of the game are pretty dang good now and do a decent job of explaining all of the basics.

My whole approach to this game is playing it like I’m a photographer. I just try to find the most beautiful vistas/hilarious creatures I can and take tons of screenshots. It’s wonderful for that kind of thing. Glad the game has been a sort of oasis for you during this time, I’m stoked to hop back in.

lol I love that it’s the fucking terrifying design from Shin Godzilla. What an insane movie that was.
