Niiiiice. Stoked to do my annual ritual of making a fresh save and poking around in the new No Man’s Sky update for 20 hours or so. What a cool game this is, man.

This really isn’t even an outrage thing at this point, it’s more of a “How the fuck are you guys striking out with stuff that is THIS simple???”

Yeah I’m definitely aware that I’m not guaranteed to get one, we’ll have to see how things go in 90 minutes haha

Very, very thankful I got one of those invite emails from Sony. I’m, uh, quite interested to see how things go tomorrow at 10am PST when the pre-orders go live on Sony’s site.

The visuals that were shown in the reveal trailer are a massive quantum leap beyond what the PS4 can do, so it’s going to be interesting to see how they make that work.

Yep. I’m a basic bitch who likes shnazzy new hardware and I like playing current/cross-gen games at higher resolutions and framerates. It’s fun.

The financing program and overall price point is great for certain people. But you’re nuts if you think the Series S has better specs...

If those games don’t appeal to you at all, then there’s no reason to buy a PS5 at launch.”

I love how batshit insane it looks.

It’s funny, the different mindsets. For me, I love the idea of playing Cyberpunk on a new next gen console. If anything the framerate will be way more solid and hopefully it’ll be a higher resolution. I know CDPR said the game won’t be “enhanced” until a later date, but it would make sense for it to at least run a

I’m looking at the full picture when I say “roster of exclusives,” not just strictly launch titles, since obviously most people who buy a PS5 will own the thing for at least a good 5 years. And most people would agree that Playstation blows Xbox out of the water when it comes to exclusive offerings (I say MOST, not

It seems that the most important dimension here is the depth, and from the looks of it, it’s actually more shallow than the PS4 Pro (which has a depth of 327mm compared to the PS5's 260mm). I was most worried that the door on my entertainment center wouldn’t be able to close, but it appears that definitely won’t be an

Can say with 99% certainty that those games will be playable at launch. Sony has said that basically all of the top PS4 games will be backwards compatible and that more games will be continually added over time. There’s no way Tsushima and TLoU2 are left out of that.

Hey, Resogun is a perfect video game.

Oh yeah, it’s fully possible to never have to actually pay $60 for PS+ haha I just wait for one of those $40 deals to pop and I jump on it for when my subscription renews

Yeah but the Playstation install base is HUGE and every single software purchase on that machine will net Sony a greater profit. You buy a handful of games on PS5 DE and Sony already made their money back.

Can you just give it a rest? Lots of people prefer gaming on a console and that’s how it is. You do you.

They announced the discless version months before anyone knew for sure about the Series S. 825GB seems like the compromise that was needed to keep costs in line. I’m fine with saving up over the next year to expand the storage when I need to down the line.

I love saying that I’m excited for something for people to then try to convince me to not be excited. One of my favorite experiences.

Honestly this is such a dumb take. What are they gonna do, delay the announcement forever? Rowling is indeed a shitheel, but that doesn’t have to completely tarnish a neat looking game.
