you’re shocked that they did the thing they do every time?

They make consoles and video games, which are after a consumer’s finite wallet, shelf space, and eyeballs, like all the other consoles. “Nintendo is different/its consoles aren’t really consoles” is just special pleading that came about after MS and Sony put up their hands after the Wii printed all the money. If we

They compete with every console, it’s just after the Wii the other guys decided to pretend they didn’t.

Now, Sony is the first-party king of gaming.”

Canceling them immediately was the right call by that manager. Pretty frustrating that so many people are willing screw over others so quickly.

Despite many times where I didn’t think it would be the case, I’m just happy my guys Jean and Connie made it thru. Well done lads.

10 bucks say this is their attempt at preventing 3rd party disc drives being made and sold.

It’s the dipshit Herb at the top that couldnt manage his own ass with two hands who’s to blame, unfortunately.  I feel sorry for everyone struggling with the ship under a captain like that.

Unrelated to my other comment: Fuck this buggy ass site and all of GMG in general. Some of the ads are so broken that they freeze the page entirely or cause flashing and stuttering problems that look potentially seizure inducing for photosensitive individuals.

When you buy a video game you’re only buying it for personal use.

Is anyone making money? Are people profiting on it?

The Bethesda formula was worn out by Fallout 4, completely fell apart with Fallout 76, and now all future attempts to re-use it are going to be immediately dated.

Never in my life have I tried so hard to get any sort of enjoyment out of a game. But every slightly positive thing is marred by a bethesda formula that has not only been shattered into pieced but gets watered down more and more with every new game they make.

Ah yes 4/11.  Got Infamous and Little Big Planet out of that one.

100%. My brother had/has every PlayStation Underground disk, and those things were spectacular. The number of times I played some of those demos is truly silly. It was the special combination of both being a kid who has the patience for replaying the same content, but also just the ways games were designed in the day.

Your opening two sentences are my main area of concern anytime any studio other than From Soft releases a game and labels it “Soulslike.” So often, developers will emulate the difficulty, the combat style, and the loss-and-pick-up experience gain, then say “We’ve made a true Souls-like.” But they always, always seem

I found a sick gatlin gun in the area that had a bonus against robots, shredded through them all. Weighs like 12.5 though

A reminder your local library allows you to get games for free.

I love this game, I bought a Playstation 4 back in 2015 specifically for this game. I haven’t played for a few years, but it holds a special place in my heart. I hope they finish strong in Final Shape. I think I’ve just been burned out by this cycle.

The thing I miss most is print media and demo discs. Some of my strongest gaming memories are of games I never even owned: demos I played over and over, or even just games I would read about and imagine. In an era when there are so many games available for free or included in subscription services, it’s funny to be
