I was gonna say that I am endlessly confused about if Xavier is dead or alive and walking or not. It goes back and forth so much it makes my head spin.

they had a problem until management realised they could squeeze some cash out of it.

Still waiting for Ariauno and Ariatres.
i occasionally yell out “i wanna take you for a ride, dunna dunna dun dun dunna dunna.”
I’m in this boat as well. Skipped out on this gen entirely in favor of upgrading my PC, but now there’s a pretty sizable library of PS4 exclusives I want to play. PS4 Pro prices are still super inflated due to the pandemic so it doesn’t really make sense to buy that when I could get the brand new one for (probably)…
I have a PS4 but never bothered to upgrade to the PS4 Pro, so I’m eagerly awaiting the PS5.
That and those who then buy the ps4 when the next gen comes out because it will really drop in price.
I think this is all true, but I also think many past launch line-ups have at least done a better job of generating excitement around the new tech. I didn’t enjoy Killzone Shadowfall by the end, but the lighting, the gizmos, and the graphics all hit the right beats for me. And Resogun was a godsend.
The strength of…
I’m kind of with you on this one. Granted it would take a lot to beat the smallest console launch lineup of all time (belonging to the N64 with a whopping two titles at launch) but with so few titles likely to actually make a launch window of the console I find it unlikely either console will be able to market itself…
You are awesome!
Also grown ass here. The number of times I’ve heard a kid or young adult say to me in a multiplayer game, “it’s nice to play with someone who isn’t toxic/racist”. And I mean I feel it, even as a white guy I don’t stray onto open comms often, whenever I do it’s either a toxic mess, or I that line. It’s a crazy world…
The reason why it’s been a minute since I’ve played overwatch is exactly because of what you describe. I feel you sis. <3
That recurring bite, sting and burn of racism is why I quit playing games like COD and Overwatch unfortunately. My “friends?” couldn’t understand why I would quit two games that I honestly excelled at over people being stupid and racist but I tried to explain to them that the mental toil of constantly seeing and…
What’s going on?
Peter Thiel’s revenge is coming to completion.
1,250,000points? That’s a single trick if they’re porting in the move chain thing from 3.
That actually doesn’t make sense for that reason! If you pre-order, they know you’re interested, they don’t need the demo to affirm that. If you didn’t preorder, but downloaded the demo, that shows some level of interest in the game. If the demo’s good (and it sounds like it is) it could generate more preorders, too.
The original demo was locked behind a $10-$15 magazine purchase.
It’s not odd, it’s bullshit. The last, what, 4, 5 THPS games have been complete garbage. The onus is entirely on Activision to prove to us that this one is worth our cash, instead they’re only giving out the one thing that can prove it to us away if we pre-order or buy some shitty burrito from a chain that poisoned…
I wish instead of the rewind thing, it made you go chase down your skateboard as it rolls half way across the warehouse
1) Yeah it sucks, but it makes sense, helps them to gauge the hype for the game and if nothing else, sales-tactics are sales-tactics. I’m one of the suckers that pre-ordered (not to imply even a sliver of regret) and come Friday I’m going to be up all night doing lines... and playing the Warehouse Demo!
