TBF I have an X and am about to eat the storage upgrade as soon as I see even a minor sale.

Has anyone found a better ash yet? I can't justify using anything but the mimic tear, even after its nerf, it's still game changing.

Yup! Same one. The buff is offense and defense. I don't have a dex build, so this scaling with both STR/FTH is a God Send. It does crazy damage 2 handed and it has awesome range. It is slow, but I'm used to it. 

I’m STR/FTH about mid-game and I’m using the Golden Halberd +9. Is Bloodhound Fang better? Halberd has been melting everything, and scales well, but I haven’t even looked at another weapon since I got it going.

Totally reasonable. There should be a quest log. 

Those are all the games way of telling you to level up and come back. At level 50 or so with a +9 weapons, you’ll be clapping those mobs.

Yeah, I’m with you. I’m over 80 hours in and have only beaten as far as Raya Lucaria in the main quest. Just exploring and gearing up is worth every second of my time. This scratches every itch I didn’t quite scratch with BotW or Skyrim. This is the open world fantasy I’ve been waiting for. The only thing I want more…

I’m starting to think that Ubisoft is planning an Isekai and they’re just waiting for a big enough world to lock their players into forever.

Oh, then yeah, you’re gonna hate this one. The parry timing is even worse and you can’t do it to everyone it seems. I won’t tell you to git gud. Gaming is supposed to be fun, so just play something you enjoy and ignore the zeitgeist.

As someone who beat them and didn't like them, how did you feel about Sekiro? It's what I recommend for folks who want to try souls games but want a more streamlined experience.

Ah yes, the readily available PS5. The solution is to buy hardware that can play the software because the hardware that supposed to already play the software doesn’t work due to the software itself. Perfect solution. 

I like it for exactly that reason. He’s clearly an outsider making zero attempt to fit in, but that’s true to his character. He’s a grumpy American just there for the check that happens to find meaning while doing so.

Bro, where I live in the midwest, the burbs have 3-1.5 on 2000 sq ft with an unfinished basement starting at $500k. You underestimate housing prices some places in the midwest. Particularly in any suburb with a decent school district.

Yup. Trying to juggle crappy weapons to save my good ones for important moments was gamebreaking for me. Totally immersion ruining. 

Kept me from getting into BoTW for years. I don’t want to constantly farm for weapons I can only get a few swings out of.

Japanese Arcades are open late and allow for smoking and drinking, at least before the pandemic. If you’re in Akihabara walking around at 11PM, you might run into an unsavory character or two near the arcades.
