Her portrayal of the lady Anne was by far the best character on that show. Stole just about every scene and her 2 minutes in the finale was both the highlight and a striking reminder how insufferably tedious the Season 3/4 characters were. Meyers’ manic charisma simply wasn’t enough, and Superman wasn’t given

I know people love their stupid conspiracies, but people need to be reminded (again) that Tor itself is an initiative of the US government. It was created by to DoD and gets the vast majority of it’s funding from the State Department.

Spooky action, along with other clues, hint at the idea that space and time could be illusions and that there is no distance between you and I, nor is there any distance between the two of us and the Andromeda galaxy.

Huh. I’d expect fossil denial in some half-assed, unaffiliated Evangelical ‘bible church’, not a Catholic school. At least in the 20th century.

Yes. Yes they do. Including a decently sized gun on the forecastle.

That really isn’t a bold assertion. It’s the generally accepted fact. There is no evidence, and most theories don’t need them or predict them.

The only stupid person I see is you. Even if you disagree president, the world does NOT work the way you think it does.

Did you seriously wait 7 fucking months to deliver that witty little barb to me? Canada sad.

Duh, Star Trek Forth

Show me a person who’s busy all the time, and I’ll show you someone with shitty time management skills.

It’s a turboprop, Hawking. That’s a jet engine.

Yes it is, in fact. It’s a turboprop, which uses a turbine engine to drive a propeller. The turbine itself also generates nominal thrust, since a jet can’t operate without generatin thrust.

Are we talking a year measured on Earth or on the ship ?

And the vast, vast majority of the people trying so hard to ‘not be mediocre’ will end up in jobs like yours rather than achieving the rank of CEO.

Stay out of my world. You’re still too full of shit. Sensor fusion (which, really, means substituting radar for various alternatives, most of which require line-of-sight) with degraded radar is not going to be better than undegraded radar which can see aircraft from 400 miles away, over the horizon.

uh-huh. You’re not the first person who was full of shit that has tried that one on me. Better cranks would at least point to unproven, but theoretically sound, ideas posted in academic journals or online.

And the battleaxe was designed to hold ground. That doesn’t mean it’s the same thing as an assault rifle. Your argument is a shitty one, as it requires you to be willfully ignorant of what words mean. Obsolete doesn’t mean the role goes away. It means the device you used to achieve said goal no longer works.

There’s really just 3 ways to defeat stealth: more power and different radar frequencies or don’t use radar at all. None of those leave the defender better off than they were before stealth came on the scene.

Honestly, there might be winners, but the risk is too high and the reward too small to ever test that out.

Ehh...battleships are truly obsolete. Battleships weren’t just big guns, but capital ships designed to kill other capital ships and anything smaller. The aircraft, and then the missile, were both better at that. So the battleships went away. Even though naval canons have been creeping back up in size, no one is
