Nuclear reactors are expensive as all hell. They're only economical on large, high speed warships. Commercial ships are better off plodding around at 10kts on diesel engines. Destroyers aren't big enough. Only carriers, which already need massive fuel storage for their air wings, make economic sense to be nuclear

Your post confuses me. Kuznetsov does have blast deflectors. It's right there in the photo I posted.

There's a restraint that holds onto the rear landing gear which holds the plane in-place while it spools up. It releases the jet once it's at full thrust.

Like anything brain-related, how your personality changes is affected by which part of it was damaged, when it was damaged. Violent vs non-violent may be a roll of the dice. Once you're brain-damaged, you're neither "you" anymore nor are you fully in control.

No idea where this whole 'suck' idea came from, but it really does everyone a disservice.

Good point in the second paragraph. Sometimes it's nice to be paid ahead, but you may not want to keep paying at that rate for the life of the loan. Getting (say) 3 months ahead and then reverting to the normal payment rate gives you insurance against default and the ability to invest the extra payment money.

My debt strategy is always go for the longest payback period available without penalty (either higher interest or early payoff penalty) and pay more than the minimum each month. If, for example, get a 5 year car loan, even though I can afford the mandated payments on the 3 year, and pay it off in 3 anyway.

When somebody wants to keep a secret, they'll use a voice call, the contents of which are not subject to national archive laws. If you want it REALLY secret, you get a burner phone like any drug dealer or you meet in person where no one will be listening. There's always a record in email. Which is why the juiciest

You're right, the details often matter as much as big policy ideas. And I do not approve of what she did here, far from it. The problem is that I look at her opponents on the GOP and all of them are highly likely to hire the same godawful people that fucked up huge swaths of the government in the last Bush

We already have. This is HR8799.

No, the wording was "least unpalatable" as in, I'm aware of the other options but they manage the not-easy achievement of being even fucking worse.

She'll still the least unpalatable candidate running.

Any of the Jane's titles were awesome.

Been there already. She wasn't that great of a president. Kept getting stoned all the time and would threaten to airlock everyone.

You seem a little down. You know what'll cheer you up? A trip to the firing range.

I hear ya, though it appears life isn't that fair. Quite a few centenarians drank, smoked and ate fried food (and did everything else BUT exercise) to the end.

It's worse. At least I can figure out Cargill or Monsanto's motivation in any given topic (make money, avoid litigation, etc.). Shit like this? There's no ulterior motive to inform you towards where truth MIGHT be. It's just wrong and useless.

That's just what's above the weather deck. The rest are in the hull itself. The ship is 90%+ empty space when unloaded.

Good. I never asked for this anyway. I don't need it, and since it negatively impacts performance and battery life, I don't want it. There isn't even an option to turn it off on the Nexus devices.

They didn't use the other 14 in that span of 3 years.
