WHY CAN’T WE HAVE BOTH GODDAMMIT
WHY CAN’T WE HAVE BOTH GODDAMMIT
I just want to point out that you started off by saying the women who say SSM is a cult are“fucking crazy” and then proceeded to write a 10 thousand word single paragraph incoherent ramble.
Here’s the thing: I wasn’t sure, based on the article, what to think at first. However, having read your comment here and others by people getting defensive and decrying this article, I am now 100% sure this is a cult.
so jezebel’s cool with doxxing one of the people who went by a pseudonym? that’s cool.
These harsh criticisms of ex-members don’t help your argument.
they all write (and I’d imagine, by extension, think) in the exact same style and tone, which could simply mean that a certain sub-type of person is attracted to this group, or it could mean this group creates a very specific sub-type of person.
I want to know why all the women in this group who have written here all sound like valley girls.
I’ve read your entire comment, and the only thing I got out of it is that Superstar Machine is even more sexist than the article depicted. Thanks for the insight!
Yeah. If you’d kept your hot mess of a husband: Alive, employed, managed, fed and clothed and supported and he KEPT stepping out... I can support her and any woman who says, “enough.”
I guess my main question is, who still wants to fuck Ozzy Osbourne?
It sounds like a club formed by middle school girls.
He told women, she says, “to do stuff like get down on the floor,” or instructed them to go home and “stick fingers up their asses, or stick, like, a carrot up your ass.”
How someone even hears the phrase “International Hot School” and doesn’t collapse on the floor laughing is beyond me. Dude can’t even name things right.
Holy shit, this sounds like a cult, MRA bullshit, and multi-level marketing all piled into one giant shitstack. As a woman in my late forties, it is easy to see through this piece of human garbage’s spiel. Thinking about how naive and confused I was in my early twenties, I could see my then-self falling for it.…
Great piece, Anna. Thanks for doing it.
I 100% refuse to believe she didn’t see the video before it was released. This is a classic publicity stunt. It fits into a popular media and cultural narrative, promotes her new single/album, and feeds classic tropes (big mean label versus artist).
Clearly they didn’t photoshop all the “crap” out- you can still hear the song! Hey-o!!
Smells like a publicity stunt to me.
I think the real tragedy here is that we will be subjected to another 72 episodes of ‘Big Bang Theory’.
