Throw horsepower at the suspension issue and lifeless steering is a feature, not a problem.

Years ago Ocean parkway is where you went when you wanted to see how fast you could go until they troopers started patrolling it more often. Now even the deer issue summons. Fuck deer by the way. Specifically those deer on Ocean parkway.

Long Islander here. We have Continental CWS on our Mazda 6 wagon and have a set of blizzaks on my Camry.

I have the 6spd auto in our Sportwagon. we average low to mid 20's too. Been that way since we bought it new off the showroom floor. We are at the point now where we don’t take it on long trips anymore due to the fuel economy.

30MPG? Wow. We have an 06 Sportwagon (auto with the 6 speed auto) straight off the dealer floor and in 11 years of ownership could only swing low to mid 20's on the highway. We only average about 21mpg combined.

I’m in NY own an 06 Mazda6 Wagon purchased new. Fortunately, rust hasn’t been an issue on our car. Minor spots here and there but nothing to cause concern.
