That is particularly awful.

I’m curious about the habit of using baby powder in your underthings. Is this something people’s moms teach them? No judgement/not trying to be provocative-I only ask because it wasn’t a thing in my family, and I honestly didn’t know women used baby powder this way.

I didn’t get out if my pajamas this past weekend. And I didn’t wear makeup ir do anything productive. Bet she’d find that confusing...

The American Thinker, eh?

I kind of hope her daughter ends up doing YouTube makeup tutorials.

Tried watching Hallmark. Thought ‘needs more murder- back to Lifetime!’

Did anyone note to him that those terms are redundant? Or is that one of those situations where you just leave it.

That box is my best friend!

Napping is a fair alternative to pretty much anything.

I’ll have you know I waste time in myriad ways-putting crap on my face is just one of them, and it’s nowhere close to being the most frivolous.

Prostitution whore! I still spend valuable brain power trying to parse exactly what that means.

It’s a flat tax. 6 minutes of sex that can best be described as ‘uncomfortable’ with a dude who looks like a well-dressed suburban Ohio middle school vice principal, every Saturday at 8:30 pm on the dot. But you can write off the 4 martinis required to get you pleasantly fuzzy prior to the act, so there’s that.

I was gonna say- Louise Linton wishes!

At least some countries are moving forward instead of backwards...

I made an involuntary ‘ugh’ sound when I read ‘irrational and over-emotional’. The next time he gets angry about something, tell him he’s being over-emotional and see how he likes it (dudes seem to forget that anger is-surprise!-an emotion and not just frothy logic loudly spewing out of them).

Thank you! It felt...odd? I was going to go with this meme of a golden retriever sitting at a kitchen table wearing a camo hat, jar of peanut butter in front of him, with the words ‘shut the fuck up susan’, but I thought better of it. I’m trying to be couth, but it’s hard sometimes!

I don’t disagree that putting your money where your mouth is and making big life changes in the name of supporting a cause is reasonable/laudable.

I went to college in Athens, and though Athens is fine, I spent time working in the surrounding rural towns and counties. They were depressed (to put it mildly) at that time, and from what I understand, it has gotten even more rough for those areas.

Thanks for making assumptions about my job situation. I have to hang on to this job because I’m finishing a dissertation and it allows me to access academic journals for free without having to be formally enrolled in my university (which would be prohibitively expensive). I do plan to reevaluate after I finish.
