Great design review, Jason. Definitely a lot of aesthetic tricks going on, but overall, it works, I think.

I applaud your efforts, sir. But as you may well know, Jalops no longer discuss the merits of a vehicle. Now let’s get back to whining about what’s really important, the name.
Oh I like Galax-E!
Yes, honey, I listed the car. See? That’s what they’re worth, I swear! Now get off my back.
I immediately thought:
I don’t really think it looks beautiful, but it certainly doesn’t look cheap. Anyway, I think Hyundai is going the right way by continuing to sink money into sedans. People who drive sedans these days are probably less concerned with impressing people than those that drive the more fashionable SUVs, trucks and…
Gorgeous? I wouldn’t say it is ugly, but it looks awful fishy to me. Front looks like a Model 3 without the slope at the bottom.
Hi David, big fan/supporter.
This car isn’t going into production, so EPA certification isn’t the reason.
It’s illegal to not wear a seatbelt, because it is proven that seatbelts save lives in the event of an accident. Why the 🖕ck does anyone think helmets should be any different? People need to grow up and stop fighting common sense health & safety laws because of bullshit “freedom” excuses.
Yeah, I stopped reading when the writer compared asking “if a helmet was worn” to “what a rape victim is wearing”. That’s a big stretch and not remotely the same thing.
If we’re required to wear seatbelts in cars, why in the fuck would it be victim blaming to require bicyclists not to also have safety precautions when riding on public streets. .
Might be one of the most ridiculous takes I’ve seen. It doesn’t matter who is at fault if the helmet has the ability to protect you from death.
Because it’s not germane to the story, nobody really cares, and it’s a beaten dead horse.
Autoplay videos, pop-up ads, and sponsored posts loading in between actual content just as I am trying to click...all working perfectly.
I have questions:
It looks like a Golf. Maybe I’m not German enough, but all Golfs look pretty much the same to me.
Stop the autoplay ads.
What’s important to me is being able to open an article in Jalopnik without a video autoplaying.
