Meh. It’s embarrassing but that’s not really expensive to repair, especially if the car was properly waxed. A clay bar should get 99% of it off no problem, and then a good polish will finish the job.

When working on things, do not be afraid to pick up the 1/4" ratchet. I see many guys using 3/8" ratchets for small jobs, getting small amount of turns when you could use the 1/4" ratchet.

I honestly wish you good luck. I’ve had mine since it was new and after 136K miles I still love driving it. In 9 years I’ve only seen 4 other 9-3 Combi’s around Cincinnati. Only one was an Aero.
