While parts of it were obviously meant to be funny, as a whole, Get Out was one of the best horror movies I’ve seen in a long time. I get that it’s satire, but it’s the kind that cuts too close to the bone of reality. How many of us can relate to the overly invasive, fetishistic questions Chris is subjected to at the

I prefer physical books. I write in the margins a lot. ;)

When the better half and I started discussing marriage a few months ago, she made it clear that she’d rather use the money I’d spend on a rock to instead go on a trip somewhere. “Experiences, not things”.

When folks present themselves in a way that appeals to most middle-class bourgeois – that’s the moment when whiteness is at its most threatened.

*sigh*

Here’s a recent photo of the Knicks:

For the better part of most of the time I’ve known he’s existed, Don Lemon has been a fuckboy.

oh it’s a ‘numbers game’ but in a completely different way to the way you think. Black people are less likely to attain ‘serial’ status because they are not protected by privilege in the same way white male killers are. White men are the face of serial murder because they are supported by society to kill over and

I think Chicken Run (despite the dark specter of chicken pot pies) is considered to be family friendly as are pretty much all of Aardman’s fare.

As one of my friends put it: “I believe it, I just don’t want to believe it.”

Ugh, same. I’ve said to guys (new friends )who wanted to hangout that I only wanted to be friends and was not interested in anything sexual. If that wasn’t what they were after I understood, but I wanted to be clear. They still tried to fuck me. I’m not friends with men anymore.

As far as apologies go, this one isn’t awful. That line about his power stemming from these women “admiring him” sticks out though. The power stemmed from him being their boss and had the power to fire and blackball them if they said “no” to his advances. I’m still waiting on the Bryan Singer story to break. Isn’t it

I’m not sure why you’re bringing up the Washington Post? The New York Times broke the story earlier this morning — two different cities, two completley different media outlets.

“a very regrettable dispute between two neighbors over a matter that most people would regard as trivial,”

Chris Evans.

The guy who played Tackleberry in the Police Academy movies.

That’s great that they are using their positions to speak out against the wrongs of the world. I watched one of the pageants last month (?) where a contestant used her time to speak out against Trump’s “both sides” comments.

If I were do say, “ I caught her cheating so I punched her in the face!”, I’d be a domestic abusing monster. What does your violence make you? Trauma to a man’s scrotum can lead to permanent disability, including infertility. The fact you freely admit this and are upvoted for it says a lot about the double standards

That sucks. I just don’t like it when anyone in the relationship resorts to violence when stuff like this occurs. Better to walk away without striking one another. No violence. Take that rage out on a punching bag or something, not a person.
