In The Heat of the Night, made in 1967, starts with a Black man from Philadelphia minding his own business in a train station. In the middle of the night hes arrested for being suspicious. Nevermind that he’s in a space (train station) with a ticket for its intended use.

I’ve had a Costco membership for years and took over payment from my mother when she retired. Considering I live up north and she lives down south, this allows her to get good deals on some items she really likes and because I have the executive membership she can go in early.
The decision worked, but it was incorrect in claiming black schools were worse than white schools. That was categorically false. The real claim was that the Brown family wanted to go to a closer school. That school happened to be white.
