I like that Rep. Waters (Aunti Maxine for those familiar) is giving her own rebuttal. She’s been around for a while and will have a nice counterpoint to Joe Kennedy III’s official rebuttal.

He also managed to gracefully turn down the “Crazy Nigger They Couldn’t Kill” movies he was initially offered while leaping from a generic network show about doctors into a substantial career.

He told everyone he loves Asian women in his first movie and young coeds who go to the New School in Manhattan. He married Soon-yi, a young Chinese-American coed who attended the New School.

Virginia resident here. I work with a lot of people from Virginia and Maryland who are tied to the fed. The shutdown affects A LOT of people, not just DACA people.

There’s a real conversation white people need to have with themselves, and they *keep ignoring it* because “it’ll make things uncomfortable.”

I’ve never really understood Marky Mark’s appeal. He’s in decent shape for his age, but always looked like a shaved chimp. His acting chops are very limited, he’s not particularly beautiful (though he does look very traditionally masculine), and he’s not very charming.

Jodie Foster has a few movies in her body of work that show that. Off the top of my head: Flightplan, The Brave One, and Panic Room. I think it’s because she comes off as smart on film (in addition to being a legit smarty IRL) and no nonsense.

I don’t have kids, but it takes me about 1 hour to make my food for the week. I flip it every week between two alternatives to balance fat, protein, carbohydrates, and nutrient/vitamin health.
