I think it’s important to see stories like this that show difficult life was made. It’s painful too, but more honest than the Disney-fied versions of Black American history. I’ll watch it, but will need a few glasses of liquor to make it through

Yorktown has gotten somewhat better over the years, but Poquoson is a place I’ve always been warned to stay away from unless invited for specific business reasons. It’s a weird little hamlet off of essentially one main road that feels like you’re stepping into the 1970s.
