Is this the final offer? If so, the players got ripped off. The NFL’s revenues is ~15 billion/year. 100 million is the budget for all toiletries and cleaners (soap, moist towellettes, ammonia, toilet paper, and stuff I can’t even think of) for every NFL stadium.

Initially? I’d guess when he was about 6 years old. In his current life? Whenever April Ryan asks a question or when hanging out with John Kelly. Publicly? Not likely unless someone really gets under his skin AND he skips his meds

Technically not a spill. I finished grocery shopping one summer day in the south and the next time I got back into the car, about 16 hours later, the pungent smell of rotting meat was overwhelming.

Most species have a somewhat limited range, like wolves - you’re either the leader or you’re part of the pack. But the human species has such complexity, where you can see people with near God-like genius and ability or people who barely slide into human. Like, you need an umpire to review the play to see if their

I see. I think the big difference between Jay and Beyonce is the level of fandom for Bey feels much higher. She has a lot of die-hard fans, while Jay has fans but not enough to fill an arena.

A (essentially) limited-release album doesn’t seem like a possible item to market a stadium tour. He needs to follow Snoop’s path and bring it down to smaller venues. 1200-5000 seat venues would be perfect.

I have some Haitian family members who were hyper critical of Bill (and by extension, Hillary), but most either voted for Hillary or didn’t vote for President and just hit the down-ballot races.

Why stoned? That just ends up in murder.

Great article. Spent some time in Trump Country in central-western PA during my youth and saw (see) the same

Oh, I don’t think all or even most black folks are homophobic. It exists, but it’s definitely a red herring to distract from homophobia in the white community.

A subtle jab at the homophobia in the black community?

I’m a first generation American of Haitian background. I can confirm.

You missed the amazingly old grandmother/ great grandmother who everyone gets everything for and usually drinks a few glasses of a drink you’ve *never* heard of before.

Agreed. It’s also been done repeatedly recently with Race and 42. There’s an impersonal and by-the-numbers tone of all three of those movies that suggests the teams that put them together was just getting a check.

He knows how to tell stories, but may have gotten a little less ambitious as he reaches AARP age. One thing for sure though: I’m so glad Spike made Malcolm X.

Manson was a bizarre figure and the Reichstag fire, ending the peace movement of the 60s. Good riddance.

I think it’s important to see stories like this that show difficult life was made. It’s painful too, but more honest than the Disney-fied versions of Black American history. I’ll watch it, but will need a few glasses of liquor to make it through

Yorktown has gotten somewhat better over the years, but Poquoson is a place I’ve always been warned to stay away from unless invited for specific business reasons. It’s a weird little hamlet off of essentially one main road that feels like you’re stepping into the 1970s.

Sorry for the confusion. I didn’t mean a specific episode, but the general feeling of the movie.
