Pay attention to the octane ratings where you live though. In Utah regular is 85, mid-grade is 87 and premium is 91. I can tell if my wife puts regular in her CRV - it needs 87, but if it gets 85 you can really feel it in the loss of power from the knock sensor dialing things back.
