Thank you for saying this. It’s been bothering me since I read the article this morning. This Giants team has some very valid areas of concern but the depth of their starting rotation ain’t one of them.

You guys are surprisingly bad at this. Or is that just another layer to the joke? Feels like it hurts the column when the “Sit” recommendations are actually viable and productive fantasy options like Tyrell Williams was last week. It would be very easy to make a list of actual non-factors. As it is you are wading far

He’s allowed to have a weapon. Carrying a gun is not a death sentence. It is, in fact, perfectly legal and within his rights. Now if he threatened an officer with it that is a different story, but that is not what you are alleging here.

I don’t disagree with that

I gotcha, I think I misinterpreted your original comment. I was just addressing in my initial reply that the presence or the possession of a handgun is not, in itself, any kind of justification for what happened here.

Obviously if it was brandished that changes things, but that’s not the original assertion I was

You were there? That’s crazy, man. You should call in to CNN. Are you okay? Must have been traumatizing to see that go down.

Is it too facile to say that John Crawford or Tamir Rice shouldn’t have been shot because of open carry laws? I think we’ve seen enough of these instances to say that we don’t effectively know how to police a gun-toting population.

It’s not illegal to have a gun in NC. We can’t on one hand arm society to the teeth and remove gun ownership and carry restrictions, while on the other hand using that very same freedom to justify the shooting of an innocent, unaffiliated citizen.

In deeper leagues Tyrell Williams is actually a pretty attractive option given the injury to Keenan Allen. SO JOKE’S ON YOU, DEADSPIN. You can’t even give out fantasy football locks properly.

I think it probably says more about Fisher than Mannion or Goff. Mannion was clearly superior to Keenum in the preseason and is actually capable of throwing the ball down the field.

As an Oregon State alumni I take great offense to your besmirchment of Mannion. I mean I don’t really, but at least the dude can throw the ball down the field, unlike Keenum.

Kluwe is right. Her music is awesome. No snark.

I miss Emmitt

Broadcast made it sound like you can still work your way back to a bronze medal after losing if things break right.

Caught Sports Jeopardy for the first time and DP seemed to be doing a great job. He’s long in the tooth but maybe there are more out there like him that could capably make the transition. Let’s be honest, it’s not rocket science.

Cat Duffy?

The introduction of the timer was such an enormous step forward for the event in so many ways. It’s far more captivating in structure than it ever was before.

I can get down with that interpretation. I voted for Kingsley but then I realized it’s not because he’s the worst, it’s because I like him the best! He’s totally endearing in a HURR DURR type of way. Like a pug that can’t fit its tongue in its mouth. KCB is actively terrifying and his existence perplexes me.

This is a strong category, but for me it’s a two horse race between Kingsley and King Cake Baby
