It’s a very neoliberal understanding of power and the individual and it sucks

Honestly, that would be a great idea not just because it’s neat and an interesting extrapolation of technological progression, but it sets up a perfectly Trek type of episode where that technology has to get taken away for some reason. Trek has always hated the idea of immortality and giving the main characters a chanc…
It looks like they’re doing a virtual flyback test to a specific point in the Gulf, running through the same landing procedures that would happen at the tower, just without the actual tower. So it’s not really on a back burner, just a front burner at a lower setting ;-)
I believe a lot of these laws have loopholes where as long as a certain percentage of the site is not porn, they don’t have to use age verification. So sites like Reddit, you can access all the NSFW and gone wild subreddits you want without verifying your age.
Love her videos.
Theoretically you could opt out of the roleplay stuff but then we get back into the THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS PER PERSON problem.
For a start, the older and grittier Old Man Robin Hood movie has been done. It was done nearly fifty years ago.
Sounds like Zhu is the one doing all the heavy lifting that would have earned Musk is $56B comp package had it not been struck down by a judge, and now Zhu is being blamed for Tesla’s sale slide that is mostly likely caused by Musk’s big crazy racist mouth.
Mel Brooks wants a word with you.
Isn’t the original character of Robinhood supposed to be Spiderman witty? I feel like that’s how older people talk of him, but everyone under 35 just thinks the character is a boring action film archer, unless they read the books.
I think darkening up Robin Hood misses the whole point of the character, yet filmmakers (besides Mel Brooks) only want to seem to tackle the character if it’s a grimy bout of despair.
“Musk is probably desperate for anything that can increase Tesla’s share price, hence this, another round of layoffs, and so forth.”
Tesla are new to robotics. They should own the fact that they’re at the teleoperation stage — like SpaceX, who never hide their various explosions, but used them to rapidly iterate, going from clueless upstarts to the dominant player in the rocketry industry.
Tesla infamously prioritises new car production over spare parts for repairs. The repair itself being cheap is meaningless if you’re waiting weeks or months for parts to become available. Downtime is a big consideration for fleet maintenance. A Ford might have a higher cost to repair, but you can go pretty much…
Saudis are less wealthy than Americans, per capita. Qatar and UAE both have a) much more generous entitlement programs for citizens, and b) much smaller populations, which makes that possible.
I’m not sure if it is a difference, but there is only 1 stop planned and it is at College Station, so no good, direct highway routes to follow for something like that. Especially if they are avoiding at-grade crossings.
Houston to Dallas has been trying really hard. I believe they have actually bought a bunch of the land, but there are still land gaps to purchase and gaps in funding to keep it going. I still keep my fingers crossed on that one, though.
It could end up like Halo, where they don’t actually get to the titular Halo until the end of the second season.
