You beat me to it. That first season of The Terror is superb, and I recommend it all the time (don’t bother with the second season). 

The wiki of ice and fire says he’s “not considered bigger than Vhagar and Vermithor”, so I figured he’s up there with them (although still smaller than Balerion was).

I love how every time they show Vhagar taking flight, it’s like a kaiju monster rather than “just” a dragon. Makes me hope they actually do show the Cannibal at some point when they finally get to the feral dragons, since he’s supposed to be at least as big.

That was Ulf in the bar and Hugh with the kid last episode, right? 

I’m not saying it’s a coincidence at all - I think he knew that his brother was visiting the same brothel, and was told he was seeing the same woman. 

He was drunk, but that scene very much came across to me as Aegon trying to humiliate his brother and send a message: “I know where you’re spending your time and hiding your whore, and that she’s important to you”. He didn’t just drunkenly stumble into that particular brothel with his entourage.

Tesla’s still profitable, and still selling the lion’s share of EVs. But you can really see the impact of the Cybertruck mistake there - the lines of EVs that actually sell well are basically stagnant in design and update, while the Cybertruck doesn’t sell in enough numbers to make up for it (they’ve sold about 12,000…

I love it every time we get to see the HOTD King’s Landing, with the budget to actually show it as a thriving, crowded place full of people. It’s pretty cool.

That’s a bummer. They should see if they can break it apart in 2030, and then have the pieces of it be carried down in SpaceX Starships so it can be re-assembled in part on the ground for an aerospace museum exhibit. 

Why don’t they just buy Rivian? The company is only worth about $15 billion now, and they could probably get it with a high percentage of the price paid in VW stock. 

More than one way to activate Perpetual Acceleration Mode, it appears. 

Maybe they’ll end up as collection cars at some point, given the scarce number of them. 

The article is paywalled - is anyone interested in Fisker’s EV tech? It seems unlikely, since all the automakers are already doing their own EV programs. But maybe it could speed up some of their efforts. 

It wouldn’t be as bad if we knew another season was coming next year, but instead we probably have another 2-year delay after this. They really should shoot shows like this 16 episodes at a time, so they can then split them into two separate seasons that can be finished and released on a year-by-year basis. 

We’re 100% getting Sheepstealer, given how much Nettles featured in the Dance in Fire and Blood. 

Hell, I totally forgot about him from Fire and Blood. When they mentioned his name, I had him confused with the maester Targaryen Vaegon (where there was the running gag in the fandom that Martin forgot about him and he kind of just outlives everyone). 

I think even without having read Fire and Blood, show-viewers can probably guess that there’s something going on with these two prominently featured sailors/shipwrights getting special attention from Corlys.

Otto is so great to watch in every scene he’s in. I like the idea that that was the final straw for him - they had a great plan, and it was pissed away. I hope we get more of him, or at least a cameo when he visits Highgarden.

And the profit initially was from them selling tax credits. I think it was another year before they became profitable outright on auto sales.
