In isolation, this would probably be good - but it’s definitely weird to propose it as a way to have SAG lower their ask from the AMPTP to get a deal.

Apparently he’s a centimillionaire, so him buying the house all of a sudden wouldn’t be too surprising (if Swift had bought it, it wouldn’t be surprising at all - although I’m amused at the idea of Swift having a crash pad in Kansas City of all places after the Kelce romance ends).

I wonder how it will sell. They have a fair number of pre-orders, but it’s also a truck - and as you folks recently pointed out, truck owners actually tend to be rather skittish on buying EV trucks compared to regular vehicle owners.

It’s a blast to watch.

You have another article about how LA has a booming business in RV rentals. I feel like there should be an opportunity here for the city to encourage the rental of small trailers to folks who would otherwise be living in their cars - that way, they’d at least have a bathroom and some indoor space to sleep and store

LA has a housing shortage, and it’s incredibly stupid for the LA city government to try and take away one of the few forms of affordable housing there is. I get it if people see the as a nuisance, but they could provide them with places to park them.

Go read that again - the billionairess is Swift. Kelce is the “multi-millionaire”.

I honestly think it’s fun watching a good contestant do the Forrest Bounce. Holtzhauer was entertaining to watch during his run.

Secret supply chain issues? Restructuring now that they’re going to have to eat higher UAW contract costs in the battery plant?

Not enough buyers at that price point. They either need to really get the cost down, or they should pivot to smaller EVs. Why not small EV trucks or crossovers hybrid/sedans? They could be really popular.

Swift and Kelce are “buying a house” a month or so into their relationship. (Oh, to be young and rich and in love...)

It’s a pity it’s ending. After the mostly mediocre “coma” seasons (and honestly season 7 mostly wasn’t great either), it was finally putting out a lot of good episodes - and Season 14 was killing it. Every episode this season was good - not like Season 3 where virtually every single episode was one of the best

A whole 30 protesters! Truly a movement.

That way, he could ensure that no alternate universes could be formed with their own versions of him who might try and question his rule.

Forest Green Cyber-Truck would actually look kind of cool. Agreed that the stainless look alone is not good - it will show every smudge, bit of dirt, and dent.

Mexican production must not be a full replacement for US -side production, because US automakers (up to this point) haven’t followed the trend with many other manufacturers and just moved all their car production to Mexico.

Three more years, and the time between “now” and the Simpsons movie will be longer than the time between the Simpsons first season and the Simpsons movie.

“It would maybe just be Morty turning 15 and finding a girlfriend that actually makes him want to be an independent person, so everything is kind of destroyed because Morty just wants to be a teenager now and start to grow up,”

Lucky.
